Kidwise

Dr. Erin Grady is a licensed psychologist in Oregon who provides psychological and educational assessments for children and adolescents. In addition to her work at Kidwise, Dr. Grady provides psychological services for children and families in a pediatric primary care setting. Dr. Grady relocated to Portland in 2015 from Seattle where she previously held a faculty position at the University of Washington in the Department of School Psychology and provided psychological services to children and families at Seattle Psychology. 

 

Believing that children “do well when they can,” Dr. Grady takes a proactive, strengths-based approach to assessment and treatment, partnering with families to create helpful narratives for children about their strengths and challenges. Dr. Grady coaches parents and educators on how to structure opportunities for children to experience (& build on) behavioral and learning success. Dr. Grady's own research has focused on improving collaboration between schools and families to effectively improve childhood behavior problems that impact school functioning and performance.
